The High Plains Psych Exchange was founded by some records nerds in Denver who love our local CO psych rock community.  We want to help grow the community by making physical media for projects we love, and by helping spread the word over the world wide web

This all started in fall of 2022 when we thought up the idea of making a compilation record that included 10 psych rock bands in the greater Denver area.  Since margins are tight when pressing we decided that we would donate all of the profits to a local mental health charity instead of splitting it up 10 ways.  We've since adopted charity as one of our core values at the psych exchange and donate all left over profits at the end of the year to a local CO charity of our choosing.

Since thinking this up we have released 2 vinyl compilations, vol 1 released in April 2023 and vol 2 released in October 2024, and are transitioning into a small short run tape and record label.  Be on the lookout for our first tape releases in early 2025!
